There’s a lot going on in America today.
Massive division and distrust in our national conversation. A technological revolution that many of us don’t yet fully understand but feel every day. Endless amounts of information, raw information, coming at us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Despite all of this, though, one thing is the same: If we want to see real change in our communities, our states and our politics WE must be the ones who will make it happen. The political system in which we find ourselves wasn’t created by us, but we’ve allowed it to come this far. Fixing it will take all of us working together.
Our collective unwillingness to demand real change and reform is part of it. A collection of politicians making false promises that never intended to keep is another. We’ve been sold a bill of goods for years, even decades. Today, though, we have a real chance to begin fixing what we see right in front of us.
You’ve probably heard a thousand times that “politics is not a spectator sport.” That’s more true now than it’s ever been.
If you’re frustrated at what you see on television, hear on the radio, or see on your Facebook page, it’s time for you to Join SAM.
If you believe that our government and our politicians should serve we the people, rather than rabidly partisan agendas or special interests, it’s time for you to Join SAM.
If you know things can and should be different, it’s time for you to Join SAM.
If you feel frustrated and powerless, don’t. The power to change the world is within you and all of us. Together, we’ll make start to make a difference—a real difference, one day at a time.
If you’re ready to “be the change you want to see in the world,” it’s time for you to Join SAM. And we couldn’t be more excited to have you.
Over the course of the next weeks and months, you’ll hear more from us, but today we need you to sign up in your state and let us know you’re ready to start being part of a new party for a new majority.
We’re ready to take the next step. We hope you’ll walk with us.
Even though two out of every five Americans feels this way, our elected leadership hardly represents this reality.
We’ve all either said it or heard it: “My vote doesn’t count.” The bad news is, for a majority of voters, that’s not far from the truth — especially when it comes to congressional races like the midterms coming up this November. The good news is, there are solutions.
SAM candidate Stephanie Miner is taking a stand against the broken, two-party system perpetuating our politically corrupt culture.
SAM is building a new political party for a new majority. Our goal is to break the self-interested stranglehold of the two entrenched parties and give back power and voice over our future, and our country, to the people.
We can’t do it without you.
